While the Group of Seven sought to define a distinctly Canadian identity through expressive depictions of the land, today’s artists explore landscape through diverse perspectives and mediums—responding to environmental concerns, cultural memory, and personal connection. Together, these works offer a compelling conversation across time, revealing how we see, feel, and interpret the land around us.
