The Art Gallery of Northumberland’s Youth Council Wants You!
Are you in grades 9–12 and looking for a volunteer opportunity that actually means something?
Do you love art, want to make a difference in your community, and gain real-world leadership and project skills?
Join the AGN Youth Council — a team of creative, passionate students from across Northumberland County who are shaping the future of youth art experiences.
As a Council member, you’ll:
- Help plan exhibitions, public art projects, and events — all by youth, for youth
- Make sure the youth voice is heard in local art spaces
- Volunteer your time in a meaningful way
- Build experience that looks awesome on resumes, scholarships, and post-secondary applications
Meetings are once a week from September 2025 to June 2026, with extra time for special projects.
You’ll be supported by Gallery staff, but the Council is youth-led.
New members are welcomed each fall — but you can apply any time!
