Featuring a year-round program of exhibitions, the AGN is committed to nurturing and promoting Canadian artists, and we strive to exhibit works that advance critical enquiry and community connection to contemporary visual arts.

A Collection Built on Relationships: Inuit Art from the Art Gallery of Northumberland’s Permanent Collection on tour at the Kawartha Lakes Museum & Archives.
This showcase celebrates the talent and vision of local photographers and invites the community to see the world through their lens.
The Art Gallery of Northumberland is pleased to present an upcoming exhibition featuring Dragon Clay Ceramics, the studio of renowned ceramic artist Brenda Sullivan. 
This display is in conjunction with the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild who is hosting their Annual Conference in Cobourg’s Victoria Hall on May 10.
The Shape of Space explores Greg McHarg’s innovative use of cutouts and repetition, transforming cardboard into a study of form, void, and rhythm.
In Northumberland, boxing photographer Pete Doherty reassembles the fragments of a life suddenly altered by illness and loss.
This exhibition highlights the avenues of abstraction unique to each artist, while finding commonalities and celebrating the differences. Curated by, Mary Reid, Director/Curator, Woodstock Art Gallery.

Tempus Fugit, ‘fleeting time’, by Mexican Canadian textile and tapestry artist Ixchel Suarez is about the life of trees.
